wheel stud/rotor question?

I have a 1978 F150 full time 4wd truck. I am replacing the rotors. The problem is the holes in the rotors seem to a little too big. The rotor moves slightly on the studs. Did I get the wrong rotors or is this ok. I do not like it with the slack...just asking you guys opinions?

Slight amount of clearance is necessary, but they shouldn't be sloppy on the studs. If you can grab the rotor and twist it more than an 1/16" they probably aren't the correct rotors.

The roter gets sandwiched between the wheel studs and the 4x4 hub. The studs press into the hub, not the rotor. They are also have a thicker diameter where they press into the hub, vs the diameter of the threads. So, if you were checking by simply slideing the rotor over the wheel studs threads while they are still mounted on the truck, it will seem sloppy.
