Stack or not to Stack..??

Well its time for an exhaust for my 05 6.0. and I was looking at Mbrp 4in T304 Turbo back or the 4in single stack. I was wondering what the pro's and con's are for the stack setup? My truck is completely stock. Also does the 4in setup come with the cat delete pipe? I have always wanted lots of Turbo whistle.. Thanks for the help guys.

This is how stacks are to me:

Cons: obnoxious looking, lost bed space, hole in bed (resale value), louder and drone at highway speeds, grabs smog police attention

Pros: can't think of any

I like my stack, dont plan on selling my truck so it doesnt really matter for that. no smog police where I am so dont have to worry about that either. I dont really hear it unless other people are in the truck with me. I like the look of it but I didnt go ridiculously big either. I was thinking of getting an in bed camper but that is out of the question now with the stack. My favorite thing about it is being able to hear it again.

I'm with cartmanea, but that is just my opinion that I'm entitled to. It's your truck and your money, thus your call.

Not much of a stack fan myself. I think some rigs pull it off ok but most don't. One reason I don't like them is every other 16-20 year old kid around here has a cummins with a stovepipe sized stack or two and think they are fast and furious and bellowing undescribable amounts of black smoke with every shift and I dont want to be associated with that LOL

'03 turbo's have fewer vanes than the later designs, so they sing a little more.

You aren't going to lose any power with a straight pipe.

Providing "you" don't go too big with the exhaust either. Bigger isn't better with regard to exhaust unless your flowing enough "hot air" to support it.

I personally don't like the stacks, they look good on some trucks, but take away some of the functionality of the bed. You can put a cap on it, can't use it for a camper, etc.
