Front End Shake

Front End Shake
I took my truck in for a front end shake Friday, befoe i took it in I locked the hubs to see if the shake would go away, it did not.
Upon inspection the drivers side ball joints were shot!! Passenger were loose. There were a couple other pieces in the front end that were loose as well. With my Discount the bill was $1200.00.
I picked the truck up Saturday, I onhly drove it home ( I am noy supposed to be driving at all from what I hear ).
Sunday Sheryl drives the truck and says she feels something, but isnt sure how to describe it. I drive the truck yesterday and the thng is shaking the steering wheel for 50 to 250' runs. It is so bad that decide not to drive it with one hand. Before turning back i try and lock the hubs. This does not make a difference. On my buddies dime I had a tow truck pick up the truck.
What he is telling me is that the passengerside U joint is siezed???? For the life of me I can not see this as tyhe cause of my steering wheel shake? The have already replaced this, and are buttoning up the truck right now, but I would venture to say I am not getting my truck back yet..
Any thoughts?
