No Speedometer!
I know this has been covered before., but can not find itthrought the search function. My friend has a '00 7.3 auto. His speedometer stopped working, OD light flashing, and ABS light on. I thought I read on here before that it may be a fuse.

I don't know too much about these trucks just yet but, my speedo quit working and I developed a leak at the pinion seal. Come to realize my vent hose was stopped up pretty good. I cleaned it out and no pinion seal leak and my speedo started working again. The clogged vent and speedo are probally not related, but just a thought....

There are two sensors. One on the tranny and the other on the rear diff. Depends on what your truck is set up with. The rear diff sensor, (VSS), is the easiest. Some have been able to clean theirs and be fine, but for the most part, it is better to just replace it. It isn't expensive....usually about $15 to $17. Quick and easy to change out too.
