Hi, so I finally found time to pull my transmission out. My plan is to rebuild my transmission and learn a bunch along the way. The truck it came from is an 81 F100 with a C5 transmission (E2TP 7006 AA stamp). I don't have any need for this vehicle right away so no stress...the best kind of repair. I read some threads about rebuilds and have got some good information in addition to some videos on you tube. Here is my question. What would you guys suggest for a manual and video. The videos that I've liked (ie Badshoe and Boxwrench) don't have one for the C5. Does anyone have suggestions for manuals and videos for this type of transmission.

Thanks for the idea. That is another question I had but I didn't want to overdue it. Everywhere I go I see info for the C6 and some for the C4 but nearly nothing for the C5. I assumed it was due to it's limited use...but wow....it's been tough. Even here on this forum nothing comes up in a search of C5. Has anyone done a C5 rebuild and if so can a manual and video for a C4 be used.
