This may seem easy.............but I removed the two metal clips from the fuel filter..............pulled, but the two fuel hoses will not let go.
What do I have to do?

This may seem easy.............but I removed the two metal clips from the fuel filter..............pulled, but the two fuel hoses will not let go.

You will need this, slide this over the fuel line, slide in towards filter to release inside clip, do this to both sides, remove filter. Need to relieve fuel pressure first, do this by removing fuel pump relay under the hood, crank the engine for a second, replace the fuel filter, replace relay, good to go.

You don't have to relieve the fuel pressure to change the filter.You're going to get the same gas spillage at the same pressure,relieving the pressure or not.I've been changing these Ford style filters since the late 90's and have it down to 5 minutes or less.
