tire size

I have a 97 Expedtion 4X4 that has the 16inch. wheels with the 255/70R16 Goodyears tires. My guestion is, can I fit a 285/75R16 tire on those wheels, and will that tire size affect the speedo?

Yes,they'll fit. I have the 285's on my Expy. Speedo will be about 10% off...on the low side.
