High flow muffler
There are various aftermarket exhausts that offer high flow mufflers. My question is do they make a significant noise reduction over a straight pipe? obviously each high flow muffler will be slightly different but generally speaking....

I've heard good things about the Banks but it's pricey. Walker is a great option also. I've been running straight piped for about 80K and personally love it, but it is loud when you punch it. Just cruising around town it's not bad and your 04 turbo will have just enough whistle to be nice not obnoxious. If you're still running your cat then you won't hear it at all.
