Ok i'm sold on the magna flow stainless muffler to replace my stock unit. has anyone used this muffler yet? i've had a gibson on my last truck it sounded stock. i heard the v-10 sounds like crap no matter what you do. so i would like to keep it some what quiet.

I have 2 on my truck,not sure what they would sound like running thru cats, nice mufflers though.

 

I have been seriously looking at the magnaflow. How much is your muffler guy going to charge you and what kind of set up are you getting?

 

Any help on this subject would be great...I've had the same problems with trying to get that throaty sound you can get from a V8 with a flowmaster. I have pipes that sound fine while idling but get to pitchy when driving.

How do you get a vehicle inspection passed without cats? Are there any power gains bypassing the cats?

i just purchased a polished stainless tip from that guy. its 3'inlet 4' outlet 12' long slash cut with a rolled edge. cost me $37 VERY NICE TIP! email me, if you want the email adress of the seller.

y2k350,i can get away with it for now,in louisiana they just want the money.as far as power gains-feels stronger.need to add x-pipe though.
