need distributor help PLEASE HELP
I need a new distributor my old one is frozen up. The only things is idk wether its a dual or single vacum. we took it to someone a few months ago who installed a old one from a junkyard and really screwed us over. so im not sure if the one he put in is right or not. we found out later that that particular mechanic is very crooked. Does anyone kno what kind of distributor is supposed to be on a 77 f100 ranger with a 351m. please any help would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need a distributor for use with the Duraspark electronic ignition (assuming someone hasn't swapped it out for points type). A rebuilt unit like the one below is available from Rock Auto:

Almost positive it will be a single vacuum. Some of the best distributors either for the Duraspark system or DUI type are available from one of the site sponsors, Performance Distributors:
