you have 2 options,
1) remove engine to access
2) remove trans to access

I did mine the other day and opted for #1

3) If you are just trying to flush it have the tranny hooked up to a hot/press. flush machine.

One thing not mentioned is that the TQ has no drain plug, if that's what you're looking for. Remove it from the vehicle by the procedure cheezit mentioned, set it flat on the floor with the opening up, and pump it out OR take your tranny and have it machined flushed.

Cheezit, you want to pull my engine,
I need studs, but you can flush the converter while you're in there.

no sorry to disappoint, my wallet is not that big tex, were you looking to adopt by chance? Remeber im just a lowly guy that is an uneducated grease monkey working the grind for the man every day being held back by the great thumb of opression, being treated like a mushroom living in the dark and being feed nothing but poop. (dont know were all that came from)

really,
still looking at fuel system options to overcome volume concerns. I also have a lot of learning to do about turbo charger selection. im leaning towards 62mm and 175's if I hit the lotto.

edit to include:
I can alway put up a paypal account to for advise to help me fund it

Check out this turbo that Garrett recently came out with: TurboByGarrett.com - Ford PowerStroke

It's a correctly mapped version of the VGT-SS marketed by someone else. I've heard rave reviews on this turbo and the price is excellent if you do a little shopping. Direct bolt-in. I'd love to trade you some 175's for some stocker's.
