Just wondering where others have been mounting their brake controllers on the later model superduties?
I mounted mine real quick during the summer months, just right of the gas pedal and left of the center of the transmission hump..........not a good spot, it blocks the heater air flow to drivers feet,,,,,,,,,NOT good in Albany, NY this time of year.
I tried Velcro but the adhesive did not stick to the dash. It fell off after two hot humid days last summer. Plus, the Prodigy comes with the "pocket mount" so I can unplug it, remove it from the dash and lock it in the glove box.
Mine is in the litle cubby also. Used velcro to hold it firm and just drilled a 3/8" hole to feed the wires through. Looks neat and is in a good location. It can also be mounted in the little indention just below also. Either location is good though.
Thsi is a great question, cuz I"m putting mine in this afternoon. That spot won't work on mine. I have the stick shift, it will hit.
I'm thinking just right of the steering column, on hte plastic and above your right foot.
other ideas?

Mounted mine under steering wheel where the cover is for the turn signal. Right handy and the electrical conections are handy, and it is there so you use it with out any distraction.
Mine is in the same place as NAFZIMO's, but when I get my new Prodigy, I am going to mount it in the little tray space above the current location like Aaron did.
Originally posted by nafzimo Yea, mount it where I did and don't use first and third.

I have a 2002 F350 auto, even a stickshift shouldnt bother the controller, its about 1 inch infront of the steering wheel underneath it. What kind of shifter do you have . Sound like a 4 ft stick from a hot rod!!!!!!:
