Brake controller mounting
). It shoudl work there in that little cutout if you set it back far enough.I don't want to use the cubby hole itself cuz that's where I keep my shades.
... but when I get my new Prodigy, I am going to mount it in the little tray space above the current location like Aaron did.
You might want to re-think that... the prodigy has an adjustment wheel on the top to adjust the amount of voltage sent to the brakes. It also has a lever on the bottom to manually apply the brakes. You have to use both when setting the unit up (voltage required varies with trailer weight). I am not sure it would be as easy mounted in the cubby hole.

I actually took the dash apart and mounted the pocket mount with screws and I can still remove the controller from the mount if needed. I had to file some of the top and bottom outside of the mount to fit nicer in the cubby hole. There is a lot of extra plastic in the mount so it was not a problem. One of my friends has a stick shift and has his mounted below the cubby and nothing hits. Aaron.
