well, i found out mine doesn't go one a transporter. It gets loaded right at KTP then to Ohio, then to dealer.
I called just few minutes ago and i'm at ramp 1k
I here stories about that ramp 1k! is that a holding ramp?
OR actual ramp to load on rale car?
the lady still showed next week for delivery!
From what ive gotten from a few google searches. "Ramp 1k" is a lot at a train transport lot. As for capacity I have no idea, but i know GM's main truck holding lot was like 23,000 when i got my denali 2 1/2 years ago. So it may be in that size range.
HEARD FROM MY DEALER THIS AFTERNOON. My new truck is at the dealer and will be prepped and ready for me to pick up on Monday. He said it is the most beautiful truck he has ever sold.
(yes, I know he probably says that to everyone) but still....
Making you wait all weekend...that's just wrong! haha.
It is actually not bad since I need to travel up from Texas to Illinois to pick up my truck. I have been waiting so long that I moved during the process.
The reason for the weekend wait is that both of the 6.7 certified techs were off on Friday

There isnt anything they have to do on the vehicle. Prep on them is mats, center caps, removing all the plastic covers which i still had pieces around on mine that got missed. There is a setup procedure on the gauge screen to get it going that i did test drive one that wasnt started. But thats something i could immagine a salesman could setup with a printout on how to do it.
