Window channel question

I got some side window channel rubber for my 73 f100 from LMC. The smaller strip that goes into the windwing side fits fine but the larger piece that fits on the top and down the back side doesn't want to stay (snap) in. It looks like it should fit fine but it keeps falling out. Should I use glue to hold it in or is there another trick to keeping it in place? Thanks in advance for some help!

Hate to say it, but I would bet your problem is that it came from LMC.

Now, I am NOT an LMC basher. I give them props when I can and have bought a lot of stuff from them.

But I bought anti-rattles from them years ago and they were bogus.

Other than that, have your tried really forcing the rubber into the upper channel, corner and side channel? It couldn't hurt to try a small dab of silicone in the corner to help keep it up there.

I am sorry to say that I too heard terrible things about LMC for this particular item and went with Dennis Carpenter for that and the rubber around my slider window and it was like Ford OEM. Maybe LMC will do something for you if you bring it to their attention. Good luck!
