I was wondering if FORD offered any other type or style of cap besides the bottlecap innie on f-100s? Maybe a 65 galaxie full cover as a dealer option? I know the 66's could have 66 fullsize car red center wheel covers (dealer option?)

There was no full wheel cover offered by Ford for F100's until 1966 (as an option), but a customer could buy anything that would fit from a dealer.
The red centered wheel covers were offered as an option on 1966/77 F100's and were standard equipment on 1966/77 Bronco's.
The Bronco's and F100 4WD's front wheel cover has a red plastic ring instead of an emblem, which allows the 4WD's front hub to poke thru.
The same wheel cover was an option on 1966 Galaxie/LTD's...but ppl have to be careful when buying used covers, because...
There were FOUR different versions of this wheel cover. The version used on some of the cars, F100's and Bronco's has a bright cone w/the red emblem.
There was another version used on the cars that has an argent painted cone w/the red emblem.
Two more versions used on the cars have a black emblem, the cone could be bright or argent.
Thanks Bill, as usual, great exact info.. I have the original style innies now, but I like to change around some to keep it fresh. I have a few different sets of caps mostly 66 style (stainless steel outies, red center full cover,94 f-150 factory chrome wheels). I've ran them all one time or other. One thing I have to say is these trucks look good with stock or custom wheels. jim
