You will find that info in the Superduty forum tech folder, because it is not 6.0 diesel related.

In case you still don't find them -

Transfer case:

Rear diff:

Front diff:

And don't forget your owners manual. It has the capacities and lubricant specs.

Alright, I might have answered my own questions. Just checked the manual. It states to use Mercon Motorcraft ATF (2 quarts) for the transfer case. Is this the same stuff we put in our transmission, i know we use Mercon SP?? And for the rear end, it states to use synthetic 75w140 & friction modifier. Is it the same for the front axle?

I would save the SP for just the tranny. You cannot buy Motorcraft Mercon ATF any more, but Mercon V is the approved substitue. Personally, and I just did this last weekend, I used Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF. I like the idea of using the synthetic. I needed a little more than the specified 2 quarts, so I suggest you buy 3. Think I paid ~$6.50/quart.

Not the same as the front. I believe the front is 80W/90. But you will probably find 75W/90 at the store, which will be fine.

You can find 75W/140 with the friction mod already in it, from Mobil, Royal Purple, and others. Your choice, but it does need to be full synthetic.

Bismic,
What brand of oil is your preference for the Front & rear diffs? Just curious, thanks for the help. I don't really have a preference as I haven't changed my diff fluid before. Mobile 1 seems to be the most available (autozone, advance autoparts..etc)

My 2006 had a 60k powertrain waranty. I developed a small leak in the rear differential cover seam at 50k. It was changed by the dealership - factory fill fluid.

If I did it myself, I would go with Mobil 1 or Royal Purple.

I haven't looked into the front differential fluids yet.

Thanks for the input. Those two seem to be the more popular ones.

pardon the dumb question, but where exactly is the "super duty tech folder"? is that just the list of all the stuff in the super duty tech area, or is there a specific service interval article with details somewhere that i'm not seeing?
thanks

For one more PM operation, you should also shoot some grease into the zerk fittings on the tie rod ends. And if you're really industrious, take apart your rear driveshaft and grease the splines.
