Ok you all got me curious about the Sea Foam. So I went and bought some and want to add it to my 2003 Navigator with the 5.4L 4V through the brake booster line.
Now it says on the can to make sure that if you pour it through the brake booster vacuum to make sure and ask a Tech. if the brake booster will get the Sea Foam to all the cylinders.
Well I figured I would ask here, Does my brake booster vacuum line, which goes into the driver side of the intake, go to all cylinders?
Thanks in advance, I sure am glad I found this site,I have lurked for a while and posted my first post a few weeks ago. You cant beat the knowledge here!

Yes, but it is important to pour the Seafoam in fast enough to almost stall the engine, but without actually stalling it. If you pour it in too slow, then most of the Seafoam will only get into the driver's side cylinders. The idea is to saturate the interior of the intake with it.
I've Seafoamed other vehicles before with good results. When I did my Expy, I poured in just about the whole can. While I was doing it, the engine bogged a few times but never stalled. I let it sit about 15 mins then started it up. I got the a pretty good amount of smoke out of it and the throttle response and idle improved a bit
I put a full can into the gas tank earlier today along with 16 gal. of fuel. Tanks was almost empty and showed only 25 miles to go on the computer till empty when I dumped it in and added 16 more gallons to it.
Then tonight I added a full can to the brake booster and shut it down. Let it sit for about 20 minutes and then started it up and took it for a drive. Within about 2 miles the smoke stopped and it was good to go. Not much smoke came out but it maybe because I had the drip bottle done to it about 10,000 miles ago about this time last year.
I added the full can to the booster pretty quick while the wife reved it up so as to get it good and coated inside.
Thanks agin for the advice I couldnt have done it without you all!

That was a waste and wasn't a part of the "how to" instructions. All you did by reving the engine was suck the Seafoam through the intake faster. The idea is to keep it in the intake as long as possible to dissolve any gums or varnishes.

I had her rev the engine to 2000 rpms as it says on the can.
Should I have not had her do that as I poured the Sea Foam into the line?

2K is okay, I consider that to be an elevated idle, not reving. When you said you had her rev the engine, I had visions of the tach being up around 4K-5K.
