Thumbs up Injectors went great I would like to thank everyone!

Hello my friends, I completed my injector replacement today, I also changed out oil and coolant used shell rotella t6 5w40 ford gold coolant and oem oil filter and I can honestly say WHAT A DIFFERENCE, I CANT BELIEVE I WAS MISSING OUT THE LAST FEW WEEKS WITH MY TRUCK RUNNING SO CRUDDY!! I would like to give a special thanks to Bismic, Cheezit and M-chan who helped me the most through my work but would also like to thank everyone who commented giving me tips here and there you guys were extremely helpful and I probably wouldnt of figured where to start without the help, I only drove the truck about 12 miles, I'm sure there is still a ton of air in the system, next on the to do list! is to remove that blue boot connection the large pipe to the turbo I found the slit in it today thats where my chirping noise is that pierces my ears, then after that is passenger and driver side glowplug harnesses and while I do that I want to replace all 8 glow plugs I hope this wont be a crazy chore but then after that I can start with the real upgrades!

replaceing the glowplugs is not really neccary unless they are bad, very easy thing to test. all you need is a dvom and 10 min of time.

also please keep in mind you may have issues with extened crank times for aprox 100 miles do to air in the system
happy to help and glad all went well. just wondering how long did it take you.

I agree. I have only ever replaced ONE glow plug on a 6.0L out of the tons of them that I've wrenched on so far. Like already stated, if you have glow plug or glow plug system issues, it WILL throw the Check Engine light on. And yes, any time you "open up" the high pressure oil system in any way, extended crank times are to be expected until the high pressure oil system primes up.
