I Found my VIN!

Went back out to the truck today, and very clearly stamped on the passenger side top fender were these numbers:

F1OVDZC237 Then a Star.

here it the problem, that is 10 digits, and I think I need 11!

Am I missing one from the front of the Vin or the Rear?

Thanks!
Ryan

Ryan,
According to George's reference material on "Earl's World" I think there should be a "4" between the V and D. That would make it a V-V8, 4-54 and D-built in Dallas. I'd guess the rest is 20237 which is the build number. Check this out.

Good Luck!

That makes sence. When I wrote down F10V I put a - and then contuined with d2c237 because there was a large space there, but I couldnt make out anything. Well, thanks for the help, now I get to go to the DMV tomorrow!! YAH!! ( oh and Dallas makes sence, it was sold new at Drager Ford in Georgetown Texas.)
