First off, hello all, I am new to the site, I just bought a 2006 Ford F-250 Crew Cab 6.0 Diesel 4x4 and loving it.
I noticed that the interior fan speed for HVAC doesn't seem right, it seems like fan speeds 1,2 and 3 run about the same and 4 really blows (sorry, immature humor), anyways, my experience with blower motor resistors is that they usually only work in High (4) speed if there is something wrong with the resistor, before I replace it I'd like to find out if the blower speeds are normal and that I just need to get used to it that way or if maybe it's possible that the resistor acts that way when it's going bad, I would not think that it would slowly die like that but instead only work in high speed when it's bad.
Sorry, I meant to add that part, it is a manual climate control not an automatic climate control. I guess what I really don't understand about the resistors are do they slowly die out like that or do they just die altogether where the high fan speed only works?
