UPDATE:

Well it is finally fixed. It was my fuel pump. It would come on so I just assumed it was good. After changing almost every part under the hood I decided to check out fuel. I hooked my guage up to it and it slowly came up to 40 PSI. As soon as I shut the key off it dropped to zero instantly. Pinched both fuel lines, seperatley, and it stayed that way. Well I went with the pressure regualtor since it was 23 bucks and it didnt fix it. Did the 140 dollar pump and viola. Starts in less then a second everytime. Also my gas guage wasnt working and while the pump was out found a hole in the float. Ordered a new float off ebay for 8 bucks, but in the meaqn time it is JB welded and working like a champ. The way I see it I spent probably $400 dollars doing all this, but it was cheaper then the stealer, i mean dealer, i learned a lot and everything is new on a 20 year old truck. I'm happy.

not solved yet! Subford????

I'm STILL dealing with the hard start problem....except now it seems to be getting worse. It's flooding out (intermittently) when it's cold, too. Since the last time I've posted, I've changed the ACT, coil, distributor (w/PIP), and ignition module. This is in addition to what I've already done (coolant temp. sensor, fuel pres. regulator, plugs, cap, rotor, timing set @ 10 deg. btd). There are NO codes to speak of (KOEO or KOER) and fuel pressure is good when running, with key on, and holds pressure with key off...so injectors are good, I can assume. I'm not getting any less frusterated with this truck, (my 1st Ford) and I'm just afraid it's gonna leave me stranded at some point. Any more advise out there? My pocket book is getting thin as is my patience!
