truck ignition turned on easy but hard to turn off just did it went from easy to hard not slowly getting hard just east to turn off to hard. key comes out easy and turns on easy. Thanks
That sounds to be like the igintion lock cylinder needs to be replaced. but It could be the igintion switch or the rod is binding or possibly slightly bent or broken.
You don't say what year your truck is, but if it's 87-91, it's common for the linkage between the ignition switch & lock cylinder to break. It's cheap to buy but hard to replace.
