Domelight problem

I have an 07 F250, 6 spd manual. The domelight does not come on when I open the door. I know somewhere, something is not telling something the door is open or closed. How can I fix this?

And when you checked the bulb first, that was ok?

Yes. Light works fine. Light comes on when ignition is turned off and it works when I turn the main domelight dial all the way.

Does your "DOOR AJAR" warning come on when you close the doors? If so, liberally spray WD40 in the door latches. Exercise the doors and see if that works.

No. The door ajar light does not come on. None of the doors when opened cause the door ajar light to come on. I took the door completely apart and the wire that connects to the door ajar switch is not receiving power.
