drivers door domelight switch

drivers door domelight switch
trying to work out a few little issues with this f-150. my drivers door will not turn on the dome light. crew cab, and the other 3 doors all turn on the domelight when you open the door. i dont see a door switch or sensor in the door jamb. am i missing it? how do the doors initiate the domelight when you open them. i own nothing but ford trucks and cars, and i cant seem to remember having this issue. looking for a little help thanks

You might try spraying it with some electrical parts cleaner first.
