Whining A4ld
1990 ranger 4.0L a4ld trans

My trans will whine when in drive and reverse after worm up

It does not whine in park, nutrual, or when you step
on the gas

will whine in reverse at idle
step on gas a little the whining stops

will whine in od,d,3,2,1 gears at idle
step on gas a little the whining stops

enybody got eny ideals

Mine Has A High Pitched Whine At 1000 To 1300 Rpms In Park, Quiets Down A Little When Warm , No Noise When Goin Down Da Rod, Help Us Mr. Goodwrench !!!!!!!!!!!1

Hi i have fixed it by replacing the transmission convertor
hope this helps every one with the same problem

main pump might be causing the noise
