tranny whine

I have a 2013 f350 with the 6.2L gas and automatic transmission...when it sits idling in gear or park it starts to whine or squeal for about 30 seconds then stops and starts again. it makes a horrible sound if you shut the truck off while it's making the noise...anyone have any ideas...ford has had the truck for 5 weeks and checked the motor for vacuum leaks and changed the torque converter...but it's still doing it but less frequently now but according to them it's louder. any help would be great. thanks Craig I have a video but don't know how to upload it. if you go to YouTube and search ford raptor whine it shows a raptor making the same noise also.
Thanks again

Its got 100 000 kilometers on it and it does tow a fair amount in the summer months, just had a tranny fluid and filter change 2000km ago at the dealer where it is now.
These trannys don't have the bands in them so Im stumped.

Since there are NO bands in this transmission I think that's not the issue.

Disconnect the serpentine belt and see if the problem follows that? Could be something on the accessory drive giving out?

so turns out it was not the tranny...the engine was creating a vacuum and the sound is it trying to get more air sucked in the engine....there was so much suction you almost couldn't put the oil filler cap off...soon as you do the noise quits...now hopefully ford can figure out why.

Do close the loop we'd all like to know what this one was? Intake leak likely. Was it using oil?
