he installed the IP incorrectly and it resulted in a runaway.he never could get it restarted (actually i think he did once,but of course she was knocking badly so he shut it down quick) and found metal filings in the top end.
i "think" she spun the cam bearings.who knows how the bottom end handled it.with a few miles on her,she would have to be tore down completely and inspected before putting $ in it anywhere imho.

Yep,long ways...Im about 30 miles east of Pensacola. Im going to try to put it al back together about mid week,I been busy as a cat trying to bury poo on a marble floor! I only got to fish twice last week,,That aint cool...........

you can just use sealant for testing Rick.if you get it working right,you could then put a new valley pan in it.
man,they don't give those things away do they.

Did someone stick the wrong bolt into the wrong hole on the water pump maybe???

Really don't know why a water pump bolt would have been removed off whats been said so far, just thought I'd toss it out there.
