I am sorry, I know you have said before but I can not remember.
he installed the IP incorrectly and it resulted in a runaway.he never could get it restarted (actually i think he did once, but of course she was knocking badly so he shut it down quick) and found metal filings in the top end.
i "think" she spun the cam bearings.who knows how the bottom end handled it.with a few miles on her,she would have to be tore down completely and inspected before putting $ in it anywhere imho.

I had it started a few times,The very first restart it ran ok,then I put remanned injectors and it ran like crap,I took them back and got new delphies, worse than ever.It had a loud chirping noise from the front of the motor{realy sounds like a bad water pump},but I took off the belts and the noise was still there. Then it started making a loud knocking sound from the pass side.I took off the intake, valley pan ect...checked the lifters ,all ok was going to put it all back together, found out a new valley pan was $68 smackers, got violently pis**d off and thats where I left off. I have a vision of it being a tooth off on the timing gear but im not sure if it would even crank if that was the case.I think Ill take the front cover off this time and be sure its timed right.I could write a book about this adventure!!!I only wish I had found this place before I turned the first wrench!!!

you can just use sealant for testing Rick.if you get it working right, you could then put a new valley pan in it.
man, they don't give those things away do they.

Did someone stick the wrong bolt into the wrong hole on the water pump maybe???

Really don't know why a water pump bolt would have been removed off whats been said so far, just thought I'd toss it out there.

-Enjoy
