Hey Fred,
I bought the No Limit Engineering Wide Ride IFS Kit. They were good to work with - their instruction manual was a bit light but they were very reachable on the phone and knowledgeable. I'd buy from them again.
The "Wide Ride" is what No Limit calls their Mustang II style IFS.
The main differences are it comes with heavier grade tubular arms &
it has a front stabilizer bar included. It's been beefed up for a truck. Also they come with larger brakes than other IFS suppliers I've seen -
12 inch Camaro Rotors. It's all about what you want & are willing to pay.
I think if I had it to do over again I'd go with the Air bags vs. the coilovers.
Are you talking about the front suspension only, or, the entire chassis? I have the entire TCI chassis, but it's for a 53 and it won't see the road until this summer, so I probably can't help. But, I was not happy with their customer service, and the rubber bits on the front will all need to be replaced by the time it hits the road(they're about 20 months old).
Hey Carnut you still working on that bathroom ? LOL Havn't heard from ya lately. Yes i got a 53 now !!! So i be needing that carpet back. LOL Just kidding !! Was it much trouble painting the chassis with it all put together ? I see they say it ain't painted. I have about talked myself into getting the NO LIMIT chassis. It has coilover and is built stronger.
It came unassembled. I powder coated parts of it and painted parts of it. It was semi-painful. The bathroom is about done, so I hope to soon get the truck wired. I just don't want to work on it and then have to get back to it a week or two later. So, it may have to wait until summer vacation. You can get the carpet back for the original charge plus shipping if you want it. I really like it ad still plan on using it, but you gave me such a good deal, I'll get it back to you for cost. When did you buy the 53?

I got it last week and i don't want the carpet back TOM. I was just joking with ya. Glad you got the bath ALMOST done so you can get back to the truck. Bet your ready for a break from school as much as the kids are. I posted a video on youtube .Click the link on my thread and take a look at perfection. LOL LOL LOL
I am new to the forum and I'm currently assembling a TCI complete chassis for my 56 F100. Ordered with 4-link / panhard bar, GM disc brakes all around, etc. As I'm sure you know, the package is short on a parts list and installation diagrams. Do you have any pics of the completed chassis?
I used a TCI IFS, and was quite happy with it. Well made, quite skookum. The installation
instructions are not fabulous, but overall, pretty good, I thought. They don't come with
the package, they're on the net, try here:

Welcome aboard. Are you mainly looking for suspension pictures?
These were the easy ones to dig up. I made the steering rack bushings a wedge shape to tilt the rack to make it better line up with the column. The pictures of the front springs do NOT show them properly seated. Compressing the front springs and seating them on their perches will the most difficult part of the install. Shake my cage if you have any questions.
These are exactly what I am looking for. My chassis kit was also provided with a bar about 1/2" in diameter and about 24" long - it looks like a panhard bar that would attach to the rear end and bolt (with a bracket?) to the side of the frame. Do I need the panhard bar if the 4-link has the bar to triangulate the rear end? Also am missing the front anti-sway bar - was provided hardware, but not the bar.

The more pics, the better!
I'm not sure what the 24" bar is for and where it attaches. I'm pretty sure I didn't get one of those. Can you post up a picture of it? If you look at my rear -end (picture), I assume you have the same triangulating bar to keep the rear from moving sideways? If so, I'd say you don't need a panhard bar. I'd tell you to contact TCI, but I'm less than thrilled with what I received for customer service. I'd contact the vender about the missing sway bar because you'll definitely need it (I really need a rear sway bar too). Maybe he can also help you with the 24" bar. Did you get the same type of springs that I'm running? I'm not sure if I have any more pictures, so you'll need to let me know what you want to see.
