Two new F-250s arrived at the dealership this morning. There was something special about these two.
'11 F-250 Supercrew Lariat, Sticker price just below $61K
I priced a Lariat F350 4x4 crew cab pretty well loaded. $59,815.00 plus TT&L. They wouldn't come down any. The salesman couldn't answer any specific questions I had and I don't think he really cared. I even asked the service manager a simple question like, can you idle the 6.7 for long periods of time like the 7.3. He didn't have a clue (still like to have that one answered). Ford did a fantastic marketing job on the 2011's, but they failed to educate the people selling them. Sad
What is special is the price. $61K puts that about $30K+ outside of what all of us want or should need to pay. This thing should come with a driver for that price.........
One of the reasons the price is that high is because people will still buy the vehicle with the ridiculous price. Smart people wait for the opportune moment (in a few years when you can find a used one for a lot less).
