They're here!

Two new F-250s arrived at the dealership this morning. There was something special about these two.

In a year I may get an F350 SRW if the engine proves reliable.

Love my F450 but wish it came with the 6.7. New F450 is pussified and just a rebadged F350 while the F250 has no payload...

They are the first with the new Ford built ( Not Navistar ) 6.7L Powerstroke engines to arrive here.
I was astounded by how quiet they are.

I'm surprised that they don't have any badging on the engine itself. I would think that they would being that it's ford designed and built.

$61K is crazy . If your writing it off is one thing, but $61K that has to be loaded I would assume.

I priced a Lariat F350 4x4 crew cab pretty well loaded. $59,815.00 plus TT&L. They wouldn't come down any. The salesman couldn't answer any specific questions I had and I don't think he really cared. I even asked the service manager a simple question like, can you idle the 6.7 for long periods of time like the 7.3. He didn't have a clue (still like to have that one answered). Ford did a fantastic marketing job on the 2011's, but they failed to educate the people selling them. Sad

What is special is the price. $61K puts that about $30K+ outside of what all of us want or should need to pay. This thing should come with a driver for that price.........

I am sure it's an awesome truck but I can't imagine what a bear maintenance will be on that thing when the warranty runs out.

Ya, just wait a bit and you will get 10K off the MSRP. I don't know why they even bother listing that price, because it's a joke to me.

One of the reasons the price is that high is because people will still buy the vehicle with the ridiculous price. Smart people wait for the opportune moment (in a few years when you can find a used one for a lot less).
