Get the whole MBRP SS 4" kit and the downpipe comes with it.

So your Banks 4" Monster exhaust utilizes the stock down pipe? That seems weird.

Like Alvin said, that is weird, thought the 4 inch system was ALL 4 inch, downpipe back. Unless you got it in parts, subscribing..

No use in putting 4" behind a 3 1/2" down pipe. We change the down pipe when we change exhaust.

My EGT probe is post turbo. When I replaced the 3.5" with a 4" the EGT's went down over 100deg while on the highway and in general drop much faster then with the stock 3.5" exhaust. I thought the 4" downpipe was a tight squeeze, but I made it fit.

Try stuffing a 5 inch pipe in there, heard the war stories but for the most part, they'll fit. My 4 inch went in no problem.

Yeah pretty much, they were running a deal about a year ago and I wanted to keep it close to stock, my muffler was getting kinda interesting, so I just got a cheaper system that sounded nice.

Now I would like to actually add the down pipe as I have been sucked into the world of diesel mods.

Like was mentioned earlier, get in touch with Clay. He can get just downpipes. He got one for me back when I still had a 7.3.
