It is the window washer switch...plain black button...that type is used on 65 trucks...I bet under the hood theres 3 cowl access plates retained by 2 screws diagonally...gas pedal is prolly bolted to the floor too vs suspended like later 66 trucks were...these truck could have had 1 or all three of these setups as these are leftover 65 cabs..if your gas pedal is suspended...look under the cab near where your heel sits when driving...I bet there is 2 cage nuts there about 1 1/2" apart...
The 66 trucks as designed did have the pull for wash type window washer switch as Bill mentioned...yours just has one that used a leftover 65 cab it sounds like.

873265 = consecutive build number. Your truck was assembled in June, 1966.
If you provide the information from the Warranty Data Plate - the metal plate located on the side of the driver's door, below the latch - then we can decode more information on how your truck was equipped when it was assembled (assuming it is the original door).
