I guess a better question is who is waiting on delivery of their 2011 super duty?
I have been waiting for mine for a while now but just got word it should be here next week...
Sat in one at our local Car Show yesterday, XLT lariat, 6.7L 4x4 Dually. $59K Nice truck, and a high price to go with it.... they wouldn't let me sit in the F350 KR, Locked up tigher than drum.....
On April 14th. there will be a Tuxedo Black, F350, Lariat, SB, SRW w/ a 6.2L sitting on the lot at Koons Ford in Baltimore, MD.:- I, on the other hand won't be able to pick it up until May 11th. Just wondering if there's anyone out there willing to do me a favor and put some miles on it to break it in some before I get there. Ok, just kidding, but I did get confirmation on the build and delivery date.
I've had a friend get a 6.7. It's so nice, too bad I can't drive it. He's still in the "I just got it, if I don't answer the phone, I'm polishing it with a diaper" phase.
Just about purchased one on Saturday from a local SoCal Dealer. They had just received three. The one I test drove was a F350 Lariat, diesel, 4x4, LB. Sticker was at 61k. We haggled a bit, but they did not come down to where I was comfortable. Also missing a couple features that I wanted. The sales manager kept telling me that those features no longer exist(HD Alternator, FX4). Needless to say, they do. Make sure you do your homework.
The ride was incredible the torque was amazine, but the feature that hit me the most was how quiet it was. Unbeleiveable to say the least.

HI
Ive had great luck with fords in the past and recently decided to order a 2011 super duty. I believe Feb. 15 was the first day ford accepted orders. My sales man/fleet manager had my order long before then. It was "confirmed" that I would have my truck the third week in march. So what did I do? Took my MARK LT back home to houston for the family (Im currently at school in daytona) and returned to florida to find there was no truck. So now ive been driving the dealerships 2010 ford focus (hardly comperable). Ive put 500mi on it and still have not taken delivery. After threatening to cancel, the owner sat down with my and signed a financial penalty agreement of $500 off every week until it arrives. So far I've got $1500 off and I feel much better about waiting. For those interested I ordered 2011 ford f-350 King Ranch Fx4 6.7 Originally they asked me for $67,000 and I walked out. The build price online is $64,000, silly sales tricks. It took a week to reach $60,900, but since it hasnt arrived Im now at $59,400 and falling . The anticipation is killer but adds to the fun. And now dealerships all around are getting trucks. Mine was produced before that 11,000 unit mark was reached so this explains part of the delay, but now it just sits on a lot in ****ucky waiting to be loaded up and driven down here. Ill be interested to here when someone takes delivery. Thanks, C. Winson
one question is how good is this new Ford 6.7 diesel going to be? I want a new body style, but will not spend the money for a diesel that don't have a motor thatis not as good as the old 7.3 diesel. I was looking online. What can you get the 6 speed manual in? I got a truck I don't want anything other than a manual.
Yeh the 7.3 has got quite the reputation. Ford has been bragging about this new motor for quite some time as being as good as the 7.3. Time will tell and im sure the proof will be in time as more are out there. The superduty is a proven truck though over the years. Ive had mine for 5 years an still not a rattle or squeak in the cab. The build quality on these trucks is impressive an Im sure the new ones will not be any different. I hope to own a new one in the future.

No manuals in 2011 from ford or chevy, i think dodge may keep the manual around. The word was that 1-3% of buyers want a manual not enough to justify building it
