Pics of headers on a 302?

I was just curious if anybody has any pictures of headers installed on their 302? I would love to know what brand they are and if you are happy with them.

You mean like this? (scroll down when you get there)
The Street Slammer Project Engine Time

I think I bought them from Summit. Don't remember the exact brand (hedman maybe) and I haven't had any problems with them

Yes actually, that's great. I was curious how they cleared the engine mount as that looked like it would be tight. Do you have any trouble with clearance on the plug boots?

My 77 F100 came with headers on the 302. I don't know the brand, but there are no clearance issues other then the proportioning valve is hard to get to. It's manual disc and mounted lower. I did just go thru a couple of gaskets as the bolts worked loose.

the only 'problem' I had was the collectors dump right at the cross member for the trans but Summit (Hedman Hedders 18804 - Hedman Universal Header X-Tensions - Overview - SummitRacing.com) carries collector extensions that allow you to route the pipes over/under/around the cross member.
Once I put those on I was golden.
No interference with plug wires or boots or anything else for that matter. Plenty of clearance on the starter, etc.

I have found that copper gaskets work well, at least on my Corvette anyway.

Sounds great. I would really like to be able to fab up my exhaust without having to pay an exhaust shop! Of course this is long time in the future anyway at the going rate.

I have Dynomax headers on my 74' 302 2wd. The crossmember will need notching with them. They are decent quality except for the ceramic coating. The ceramic coating was junk and started to bubble in short order. I would get painted headers and use as is or strip the paint and send them off to be ceramic coated. Also if you can get a header with a 2 1/2" collector I would do so, mine have 3" collectors and are overkill for my stock 302.

I put hooker headers on mine last winter/spring and the only problems i had were the transmission crossmember (had two sections of pipe bent cost about 40 bucks) and the stud where you adjust the clutch.
