Running Board Mounting!

Running Board Mounting!
Can anyone tell me if the mounting points on 07 F150 reg cabs, and up through supercab mounts are the same, other than spacing? It seems that I can find lots of running boards, but not much for reg cabs. I'm thinking that extruded boards could mount anywhere along the board, if the mounts are all the same except for spacing......... All help appreciated!!!

I mounted a 5" Westin Oval tube for my 2007 XLT Supercab. I remembered that The 2brackets were bolted to the body panel first then adjust the Oval tube by sliding it back and fore to get a good fit. Base on that, I think the mounting points are quite similar for the regular cab but the running board / oval tube should be shorter.

This is what I was wondering, that other than the length being too long, the mounts would allow it to be mounted, and then modifications could then be made to length. Thanks for the help Ford-lover!
