Crew Cab vs. Excursion running boards

I'll make this one simple. Will running boards off an excursion fit a crew cab? My assuption is that running boards are one size for all excursions and three sizes for super duties (reg cab, ext cab and crew cab). The crew cab are about 7' 2". Can anyone confirm the length of the ex?
