PATS & Predator
1. I left the batteries unhooked overnight (~12 hours). Reconnected this morning. Still have my radio presets and theft light, so no-start.
2. Plugged in the F5 chip. No theft light, truck fired right up, goes thru tunes.
I'm really happy I modified the PCM case. Except for it being still dark and needing a flashlight to see, it is so much easier to hook up the chip!!
Now we'll see what Diablosport comes up with....
I went out a couple hors later, and the light was blinking fast again, and truck wouldn't start.
Had to unplug the F5 again, put a DS tune on with the alarm parameter modified to drive the truck.
Probably take it to the dealer tomorrow......
Thanks for asking!!
James and Jody' suggestion didn't work. All I can do is flash the truck with a program and disable the Anti-Theft, and I'm on the road. However, this WILL NOT work come smog check. So I just dropped it off at the dealer to have the PCM reflashed and the PATS reset. Thank God I have 2 PATS keys that work!!
To all that offered up suggestions, a heartfelt "Thanks"!
And BTW, I still have no response from Diablosport about a problem caused by their product!
To Jody and James, who went above and beyond the call of duty offering help, I am extremely grateful!!
I'll post back tomorrow (I hope) when I get the Ex back!
Reflashed the PCM @ dealer; then reinstalled my F5 and I'm back to
!!The cutout I did on the PCM case works slick!!

BTW there were some strange DTC's that the dealer pulled:
U1147; B2139; B2141; and P0603 (I know that one is KAM)
I'll have to search to see what the first 3 are......
Type ’C’ is an OBDII Chassis Code
Type ’P’ is an OBDII Powertrain Code
Type ’U’ is an OBDII Undefined Code. This type of code
usually includes system communications or theft system
codes.
U1147: Invalid or Missing Data for Vehicle Security
The PCM received a signal on the SCP bus that indicated Invalid or Missing Data for the Security system
B2139: Data Mismatch – PATS
B2141: NVM Configuration Failure – PATS
