I came across a 60 Crew Cab this last week and took a little drive to see it in person and decided to take it with me. However it is a bit worse for wear. It was wrecked on the rear door of the drivers side and the then Owner skinned across the damage and disposed of the door. There is a lot of bondo covering that was cracked and i tore some off to see what was underneath. I will see if i can post more pics of the truck for you to look at.
Can anyone direct me to some one that might have a drivers side rear door and possibly the passenger one as well? I have an extra cab that i can cut up and salvage the rear corner with. The VIN plates says it is an F100 but the axles were swapped out for 3/4 ton and the emblems on the hood as well. Well let me know if you see or know of a set of rear doors. Thanks, Mathais
Where in the world did you find one? I'm jealous. Good luck finding a rear door. You are going to have to make one out of a front door like the cab manufacturer did.
I have a donor cab sitting in a place where it has to be moved, I was going to use it for a crew build, but I can find better ones around. It has a very nice step area and uncut dash unlike yours. I may be cutting it up soon for donor metal for whomever needs it, as I cant transport it and store it anywhere at the moment.
Let's figure out a time we can meet as i would be very interested in looking at the cab and i can show you the crew cab. It is in Santa Rosa. Let me know. My cell is 707-888-8777.

There are no Ford factory rear doors available, because Ford did not offer a factory Crew Cab until midyear 1965.
Early 1965 Crew Cab's were conversions done by Crown Coach. Prior to 1965, besides Crown Coach, body makers Armbruster, Superior, Hess & Eisenhart and etc. did the conversions.
I didn't expect to find new doors laying around, but was hoping that someone knew of another crew cab that may have suffered some similar fate but the rear doors were in tact and i could possibly talk them out of them. If not i will begin the process of building my own. Thanks,

Number Dummy, maybe you can help me out with the VIN:
F10C9K54585
110 S F10C 25H C 01
05000 158 4090 6156
I have uploaded a photo for your reference if needed.
The one thing that is throwing me is the color code. I believe i have figured out the rest but everything i find does not show an S code for color. Let me know what it is if possible.

There were less than 500 Crew Cabs S/O'd in '59 & '60, so Good luck in locating either of those doors specifically made for a Crew Cab or a Current Owner of a '57-'60 F-Series Crew Cab, that Knows what he's got, to let those doors Go for anything short of an Arm & a Leg.
What you'll probably wind up doing is what the Companies that did the conversions did, Modify the Doors yourself, if they actually did any modifications to the doors at all.
But to make sure, take Exact measurements of both of the Passenger-side doors of your truck, then take exacting Door measurements of a Standard Cab '59-'60 F-100 truck & see if Anything was actually done to them.

I'm not N.D., he & I are good mates & have a similar take on most subjects. Though he has an endemic memory & access to more FoMoCo literature than I do.
Your DATA Plate the way you've listed it & the picture you posted, matches a '60 DATA Plate & not one from a '59, as FoMoCo changed the D.P. lay out from '59 to '60.
So it's a '59 1/2, which would also explain some of the peculiarities of this truck.
F10=F-100
C=292cid 8cyl Y-Block
9=1959 (built in the last 1/2 of '59, but a '60 year model truck)
K=Kansas City, KS
54585=Consecutive Serial Number
W.B. 110=110" Wheel Base
Colour S=Special Order (usually)
F10C=(no such listing it's supposed to read either, F-100/101/102/103/104/105)
Date 25H=August
Trans C=Ford-O-Matic
Axle 01=3.70 Rear Gearing
MAX. G.V.W. LBS. 05000=5,000Lbs
CERT.NET.H.P. 158=158hp
R.P.M. 4090=4090rpm (so 158hp @ 4090rpm)
D.S.O. 6156=its particular Special Order code
I don't see Anything hatefull in my previous statement.
Just read my Signature.
