tuck died while driving

I have an 88 bronco II, manual, 140,000mi. never had any problems. I was driving and it started to sputter out a little, so i went and filled it up with gas, it then started fine drove 2 miles, and just died. I can hear the fuel pump turn on and and there is pressure at the fuel rail. The battery is good and it cranks just fine. I didnt have any other tools or time to check other stuff, but would love to hear any other ideals. This is my first bronco II, and i love it.....Thanks in advanve.....

got the same problem goin on with my Bii and i have changed almost every freakin thing fuel related on it, the new parts include, fuel filter, high pressure pump, fuel relay switch, fuel regulator, new spark plugs, new cap and rotor and the only other thing i can think it might be is maybe the low pressure pump in the tank. what is this tfi module that ya'll are talkin bout and where might that be located on the truck?

I had the similar issue with my BII it drove me nuts for about 3 days until i discovered the ignition switch was comming apart. It would allow it to turn over and catch but as soon as i released the key it lost connection and died. Replaced it and no more issue. Maybe you got the same problem it only takes 2 seconds to check out. Just a thought
