Hi,
The ranch's 90 F-250 7.3 4x4 is having some problems First off, it won't shift. You have to start out in first & work your way up, & the tach diecd too, Can those be related? Happy Easter to all

If your 92 has the OD cancel button on the end of the shifter it could be a short in the wire to the stalk. My 92 didn't have the tach but the speedo stopped working and the tranny would rev high in first and slam into second gear when the fuse blew that fed that circuit. Nothing that six inches of electrical tape couldn't fix.
