Trim removal?

so i actually have all the trim for my truck, but one bed piece is off and bent and another piece is missing the black strip. i like the look of no trim better than beat up trim but was wonderin whats the easiest way to get rid of all the little studs that will be left behind sticking out of my dent. any suggestions

I've been wondering, too, because I've got to replace some lower trim...can't they be drilled out?

Not really, the little studs are basically spot welded to the sheetmetal. If you want to get rid of the trim, you'll need to grind the studs down.

Is there a market for the "racetrack" trim if it's in good shape?
Have a 78 F150 parts truck with all but a few pieces in pretty good shape.
Some of the lower trim on the passenger side of the bed is shot
If someone wants the trim and can explain how to get it off safely, maybe we can work a deal? Any links out there for trim removal tips?
Thanks,

+1 on removal of the dent side trim, the ridged trim on the bottom of each side, and the two large pieces of tailgate trim. Also how to reinstall.

Most of the trim is bolted on each end. Remove these nuts then start on one end and carefully pry under the trim with a putty knife and they should pop right off without damage. Sometimes I push up on the trim with my thumb while prying on the opposite side with a putty knife.
