Looking at a 2008 stx

Hi I found a 2008 f150 stx 4.6 with only 3k miles on it for about 20k. Looks like a good truck, but when I go look at it, what should i look for? Anything to beware of on these model years? I know every year has some dang thing about them... just want to look out before I buy.

Spend the money for a VIN history report. Also have a reliable mechanic check the vehicle over. With only 3K on it you seem to have found a "brand new" three year old truck.

Go to the dealer and beg or bribe an Oasis report from them.

sorry guys, its just a 4x2 extended cab... yeah very wierd to find a truck with no miles on it and be that old... but my brother just did the same found a 08 sable at carmax with 3k on it, guess it was an executive car or something. And come to think if it... my last car... 98 taurus bought it in 2000 with 150 miles on it... guess it just didn't sell, turned out to be a great car.
What's an Oasis report? is that like carfax?

An Oasis report is Ford's history of your vehicle from day one of its existence I think. My friend at a dealership got me one on my truck.

also, what's the issues with the spark plugs breaking on these years? or did they work that out by 08. And I've been reading tons of stuff about vibrations that the cause could never be found.
