blower motor

My 2006 f-150 seems to have blown the 1-2-3- speeds on the blower motor and only will work on high ( No.4) Any one had this prob? Hope it aint the motor and only a maybe a switch. Any help would be appreciated

i would think switch due to the fact that if the motor was bad it would not work all together (just my opinion im not an expert in electrical parts)

Resistor pack, when it blows you only get high. Shouldn't be very expensive, but I'm not sure where it is on these trucks.

screwy is correct, given the discription it is the blower motor resistor. Component is located at passenger kick panel bellow dash.

Yep. Resistor assembly. Passenger side floorboard area. In the airbox. 2- 1/4 inch hex head screws and 1 harness. Should be around 12 dollars at Advance or Auto Zone. 5 minute fix and then you feel like a genius. WOO HOO!!!!!

blower motor fix

Y'all were right on about the blower motor resistor. Thanks for the help and it saved me 100 bucks by not going to the dealer. thanks again easy fix, two 5/16 bolts and out it came and plug it in that was it.
