I'd check that you haven't torn any intercooler boots just to be safe. I just did the glow plugs on the passenger side of the engine, and while I was in there, I re-torqued rocker arm bolts, etc. and oddly enough, my idle smoothed out noticeably!!
re-torquing everything under the valve covers has been known to considerably quiet the engine down, its recommended to be done every 50k, how many average joes out there do you think actually do it, not talking crap but most people out there just dont know and when i bought my truck with 140k already on her everything was out of spec
Okay guys I don't think its my push rod or my rockers. The truck idles fine with no white smoke or abnormal noises. I did have a TPS code PO122. I also removed tps did an ohm check and had inconsistant numbers. I then installed the tps an did a check with my snap on modis scanner and had code PO122. Did the code check and voltage reading are normal. Started truck and went for a test drive and truck seems to be running okay for now. No miss or bucking just smooth acceleration. I think problem could be in pedal assembly. I will take it for another test drive in a couple of hours.
