38r questions

With what I have in my signature do you think I could benefit from a 38r?
Would I need to add anything or upgrade anything? I have stock injectors and hpop yet. I do have an airdog to install and a snow perf kit to go in also. Do they just bolt right in like everyone says or are there minor mods to make it work. What about the studs are they or will they be ok? I want to build her right and I know you guys know how. Thanks and sorry about the twenty questions.

I got the same mods as you and the 38R works great for what I got, stock injectors, HPOP, exct. I will feel its full potential when, someday, bigger injectors go in. A regulated return would be another good option to go along with it. Not sure if the airdog accomplishes that, still learning about those. Tell yaa what, if you are thinking of getting a 38R, used one's can be had for less, not much less but this is a smokin deal on a Brand NEW 38R from Clay, check it out. That's where I was going to buy it from. Seems some think that it puts stress on the studs though. Just not sure. Is it quite noticeable-speed,spool,

I think so, spooling faster, versus stock, no dout. As for stress on the studs, not sure on that one, not one problem with mine and its been opened up plenty to pass turds or just to play. Subscribing on the answers to your questions, good luck.

You're not going to see anywhere near 400 until you add more fuel with bigger injectors. I did see an improvement in mpgs and spool up while I still had stock sticks and the 140V IDM mod. I'd stay with the 1.0 unless you are going with bigger injectors. And even then, there is some debate as to whether the 1.15 is needed. I did see a slight loss in mpgs with the 1.15 housing.
