Ain't it the truth. People laugh when I say I used to have a Gremlin. It may not have been the prettiest car, but it would move. It was the " X " model w/304 & 3 on the floor.Picked up a couple buddies one night & went down to where everybody ran them at night. Final score, Rambler 3, competition ZERO. Didn't stick around too long, place was well known to law enforcement & as I was on the road heading home, I saw a big old " Plain Jane " Fury going that way. To this day, I think I left just in time. Left a lot of people talking about the night a Rambler came down there & blew off the doors of everybody that he ran. Don't know if I converted anybody or not, but wouldn't surprise me. Got a little respect after that at least.
