Engine stall

Engine stall
Have a 2005 f150 (5.4 L) with 44K miles. Never had a problem before today. Driving along at 60mph and engine stalls. Pull over and engine starts but only idles, when I press accelerator RPM does not change from idle. Turn off and restarts okay and operating normally. Possible fuel pump or TPS sensor?

I had that kind of happen in a kia sportage,
It was the cat. the inside broke free from the housing and it would occasionally turn sideways and block the cat. and exhaust stall the engine then work again when restarted.

just out of curiosity....
have you checked your trans fluid level?
When was the last time that you changed your fuel filter?
Just a couple of things that I can think of right now.
