The 10th or morning of the 11th would be good. Let me know if you make it then. The 11th is the Swap meet here and I have to leave for Portland late afternoon and won't be back until Monday or Tuesday. We own PS Shoes right Downtown, so you can stop by anytime on the 10th or I'll be home that evening.

Good Morning Oregon, 47 degrees when I woke up this morning. How was the GTG at the Columbia?

It was 44 deg here this morning. The GTG was a flop.....3 Oregon members and 2 Washington members showed up.......

Makes me wonder why I even try. We have over 150 chapter members and maybe a half a dozen even bother to post in the chapter.

Maybe somebody else should be chapter leader............

What is a GTG?

Also, with the economy, most of us are focused on our jobs so we can keep them. I wouldn't take it personally at all.

I mean we all don't have gov't jobs to leach our fellow tax payers pockets...

I'm just saying...

Well a mini GTG is still better than no GTG......Anybody bring good eats?
I think hard times are really hitting home as far as folks being able to up and travel for too much beyond the daily work commute (I know it does for me)
As far as 150 members and only a handful posting, gotta scratch my head on that one......posting in the chapter costs NOTHING.

I can see no one but Don as chapter leader..........he has the "character" down.

I get time off now!.....now that summer is over.
After working us into the ground, they laid off our entire shift indefinitely.........I had some choice words for the "manager"..........probably not being invited back.

Now to find another job while living on $152.00 a week unemployment
Anybody want to buy a F-250?

Sorry to hear that Don. I would have been there if I was in the state...

The G2G was a good excuse to get away from the Hood to Coast crowd.

Morning guys! Took the last two days off, and now it's time to go back to work. Headed for the woods to work on a log loader. See ya tonight!

Good Morning Don, any news on finding a new home? I would have gone to the GTG had my vehicle been registered and road worthy. Being a business owner can be a pain sometimes, your married to your wife and the business. Have a great day and I hope it not raining where your working at.

Evening Rob. Nothing yet on a place. We do have a little more time, they aren't going to remodel till next year. I'm working on leasing a huge shop about 4 miles away with enough inside storage to hold all of my "stuff". If I need to I can buy a small place in town to live in...
I know all about being "self-employed" I've owned 6 different businesses and could write a book!

With my repair business I get to go to the mountains and work on logging equipment like today, AND, I just happened to have my fishing pole with me...........
