Fight them tooth and nail if you have to. Everything you get out of the Military will help your case when you get out. If it means a full medical retirement or them sending you out with a % of disability hire the attorney and get the full amount. Make sure when you do get out make two additional copies of your medical record and have the clinic certify every page to be a true copy and initial it.
Yep, I'm fighting for all I can get. The retirement would mean full healthcare for me, the wife, and my kid till he's 18 which will be a big burden off my shoulders.
i don't go to the VA. even tho i'm a vet but they won't tell ya anything. neither will emanual or legacy. erin tryed to get some info out of them and they wouldn't tell her anything. and i know i have broken ribs because i can move them. your not supposed to do that. and i pulled aleast 2 or 3 ribs out of my back. it hurts like hell.they were sticking out pretty good!
As a retire USN, 60% disabled Vet in 1995. Let me give you a little advice.
1. Do not deal with the VA Hospital in White City. waste of your time. I go there now and I am trying to figure out how to go back to Portland or to Roseburg. They are better, maybe not much better but better.
2. I you need help getting anything done thur the VA Claims The DAV is pretty good about helping you out.
3. the VA is slow, it took me a year one time and 1 1/2 the next time
4. I am sure that you have hearing loss, make sure they do it for both ears. My ringing is terrible and it is all due to sitting in the Aux Machine room for 20 years. listening to running equipment.
5. I have other advice to give but not in an open forum if you want it.
So what is everyone doing this Hollows Eve weekend?
myself, replacing the bushing on the front leaf springs and stopping down at the Eagles Club for a bit of refreshments and a slow game of Shuffle Board.
Morning Walt. Nothing much going on here. I live 10 miles from the nearest town, so no trick or treaters! I'm just working on getting the 67 front-end rebuilt. May work on finishing up my 96 4X4.

Maybe give our a treat or two on Sunday Night.
Don't let the Ghost and Goblins get you..........
We'll be working part of Halloween. The stores downtown hand out candy to the kids each year. Last year we gave out candy to over 1200 kids. We have a great time seeing all the costumes and all the smiling faces.
Might get some work done on Fleshy Truck, but probably not much.
VA hosp. in Roseburg is no better...........I have just learned to live with my hearing loss from AF..........its not so bad, I cant hear the noisy *** neighbors down the road, so thats a plus!
