ok. got all the details bout last nights shootout, from the apartment manager
All the breakins (10 of them) they all happened last month. well they hit again last night. and one of the residents that had previously been broken into caught them. well he's a licensed carrier. he walked out with gun hidden and said what are you doin? Theif #1 stopped. then the resident said drop you gun. the theif #1 did. and the resident picked it up and backed away telling him he was fixing to call the law. and then thief #2 hopped out of their vehicle and opened fire peppering the side of the building and shattering the glass in one of the windows. the resident ran back inside and shut the door. then the 2 thieves took off running. one was so scared he ran out of his shoes. ahaha.
cops caught them.
nobody was hit...
the thieves are gonna be charged with 12 counts of attemped murder w/deadly weapon. 1 per every gun shot they fired.
and 10 counts of Grand Theft 1 for every car they broke into.
and i got some pics of what the building looks like now.
and this pic is from our patio. the apartment that is circled is the one it happened at. less than 100 yards away.

Wait till the management evicts the guy with the carry permit, VIA a new policy of no armed residents, you can't have firearms on the premises, this happens all too often, excuse is had he not got involved, no shots would been fired. This is the belief of the public, make gun carrying against the law, and you eliminate crime, don't believe it, read the comments on no guns in parks and restaurants, most eating establishments serve alcohol, watching the news reports, the people have spoken. You do realize crimes are prevented by laws, cause no one wants to break them, most criminals who have records are forbidden to buy or carry firearms, so none own one. It's licensed permit holders going rogue and causing it all after hitting the bars/restaurants, gettin liquored up and goin wild.
